A kit with one warm dot.
The mark, the wordmark, the palette and the rules for using them. Download the files, and write to us if you need something that is not here.
Light to start. Solid enough for a regulator.
The anxiety it resolves
“Will this hold up when someone asks what happened, and what we did about it?” Every choice is meant to make the answer feel like yes.
The tension it holds
Easy to begin, serious enough to stand behind. In the mark, a round dot over square blocks: one human event, held up by structure.
The stance
We are the tool, not the star. The record is the hero, so the brand stays calm and flat, with one warm signal.
The open case.
The dot is the incident: round, human, one warm point. The four blocks are the kit's four parts: report, investigate, close and prove. Stacked, they spell the letter i. In the wordmark, the i in kit is built from the same four blocks.
The mark also moves: it opens into its four words and folds back into itself. Every sequence, the loader and the rules are in the identity book.
Do and don't.
Do
- Use the files exactly as supplied.
- Keep one block width of clear space on every side.
- Use the dark lockup on fir or ink, the light lockup on mist or white.
- Keep the clay dot clay (or peach on dark).
- Refer to the product as IncidentKit, one word, capital I and K.
Don't
- Stretch, rotate, recolor or add shadows.
- Redraw the mark or rebuild the wordmark in another font.
- Use the clay or peach dot for decoration.
- Enlarge the mark into a still illustration or a pattern, or animate it in any way the identity book does not show.
- Show the mark on its own above 32 px in an interface. Beyond that, use the full lockup.
- Place the mark on a busy photograph.
- Imply an endorsement or partnership we have not agreed to.
Clear space
Keep one block width (about one sixth of the mark's width) free on every side.

Calm field, one warm signal.
Fir is identity. Mist is air. Clay and peach mean exactly one thing: an incident, or something still open. Never decoration.
One grotesque, one mono.

Plain, calm, specific.
Like a good risk manager: states what happened, what happens next, and who owns it.
Say the thing
“Fall in room 12, 2:40 pm. Resident reviewed, no injury. Action assigned to the charge nurse.” Not “an event occurred.”

Boilerplate
IncidentKit is incident reporting and corrective-action software for healthcare and high-risk work. Staff report by text, QR code or email; Lauren, the AI assistant, drafts the report and a person signs it. Investigations, corrective actions and audit-ready packets run on one record. It is free to start, and teams pay per site for a BAA, patient information and compliance packets. IncidentKit comes from the compliance team behind PharmPro's compliance consulting practice.
